When an innovation is rising towards the ‘peak of inflated expectations,’ people talk about it in hushed tones as something almost miraculous. They hardly ever discuss the obstacles to adoption or the challenges that the new technology will bring.
Last year, it seemed that people were appending the hallowed initials A.I. to every conceivable offering, much like they did with IoT and cloud in past years.
